From the Gozo Citadel, St. Francis Square is about a 10-minute walk. Exit the Citadel through the main gate and walk straight ahead, following signs for St. Francis Square. The route passes several historic sites.

The Victoria Bus Terminal is near St. Francis Square. From the terminal, walk towards Republic Street (Triq ir-Repubblika). Turn left at the roundabout and head towards St. Francis Square. A single bus ticket costs €2.50 during the day and €3 at night, and is valid for two hours including transfers. Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver.

Taxis are available at the Mġarr Gozo Ferry Terminal, Victoria Bus Terminus, and Independence Square. A taxi ride from the Mġarr Ferry Terminal to Victoria typically costs between €12 and €20. From any of these locations, a taxi can take you directly to St. Francis Square.
