The Pub: Valletta's Charming Retreat

Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the Gzira waterfront, head towards the main road, Triq Manoel de Vilhena. Walk along the waterfront until you reach the bus stop at the end of the promenade. From there, head up the hill to Triq L-Istazzjon and turn left. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Triq Santu Wistin. Turn right, and follow the road as it curves left onto Triq Sant'Anna. Continue until you see a pedestrian bridge. Cross it to reach Valletta. Once in Valletta, walk straight until you reach Archbishop Street. The Pub will be on your right at 136 Archbishop Street.

• Public Transport

  From Gzira, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Triq Santu Wistin. Take bus number 13 or 14 towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, exit the bus and walk straight down Triq Ir-Repubblika. At the end of this street, turn left onto Archbishop Street. The Pub will be located at 136 Archbishop Street, just a short walk ahead on your left.

• Walking

  If you're near the Marina, start by walking towards the main road, Triq Sant'Anna. Follow this road straight until you reach the intersection with Triq L-Istazzjon. Turn left and continue until you get to the city gates of Valletta. Enter Valletta and follow the signs towards the main square. Once you reach the square, head towards Triq Ir-Repubblika and turn right. Continue walking until you reach Archbishop Street, where The Pub is located at number 136 on your right.
