Car
From Malta Ridge, head south on the main road towards Valletta. Follow the signs for Sliema and continue onto Triq il-Kbira. After about 20 minutes, merge onto the coast road (Triq ix-Xatt) towards Gżira. Look for the signs leading to Manoel Island. Once you reach the island, park in a designated parking area. Note: There may be parking fees, so have some coins ready.
Public Transportation
From Malta Ridge, take bus number 12 or 13 to Valletta. This journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once in Valletta, transfer to bus number 3 or 4 towards Sliema. Get off at the stop for Gżira. From there, you can walk to the ferry terminal (about 10 minutes), where you can take a short ferry ride to Manoel Island. The ferry ride costs approximately €1.50.
Walking
If you are already in Gżira, you can walk to Fort Manoel. Head towards the waterfront and follow the promenade along Triq ix-Xatt. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the entrance to Manoel Island. The walk offers beautiful views of the harbor.
