From Malta Ridge, take the main road (Triq il-Kbira) heading south. Continue straight for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the roundabout at Marsa. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Helsien. Follow this road until you reach another roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq il-Mediterran, and then follow the signs for Kalkara. Fort Rinella is located at the end of this road. Parking is available nearby, but keep in mind that it may incur a small fee.

From Malta Ridge, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the bus number 'X2' towards Valletta. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Valletta Bus Station. From there, transfer to bus number '81' or '82' heading towards Kalkara. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Kalkara, it is a short 10-minute walk to Fort Rinella.
