    From Marsa, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Triq il-Labour. Take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, enjoying the views along the way. Disembark at the 'Valletta Terminus' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 51 or 52, which will take you directly to Mdina. After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at the 'Mdina' bus stop. Once you get off, follow the signs towards Mdina’s main entrance.

Continue straight until you reach the junction with Triq San Tumas, and turn left. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout, and then take the first exit onto Triq il-Kbira. Follow this road until you reach the outskirts of Mdina, where you will see the ancient walls. The walk will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
