    From the center of Marsa, head towards Triq il-Linja (the main road in Marsa). Walk straight until you reach the bus stop named 'Marsa - Buses'. Here, you can catch a bus to Valletta. Look for buses heading towards Valletta; the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Valletta, get off at the last stop which is the City Gate. From there, walk along Republic Street until you reach the Upper Barracca Gardens. Continue past the gardens, and follow the signs towards Fort St Elmo. The fort is located at Mediterranean Street, St. Elmo Place. It should take you approximately 10-15 minutes to walk from the City Gate to the fort.

    Start at any central point in Marsa and walk to the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 81, 82, or 133 towards Valletta. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes. Alight at the Valletta bus terminal, which is the last stop. After disembarking, follow the signs to the City Gate and proceed along Republic Street. Continue until you reach the Upper Barracca Gardens. From there, head towards Fort St Elmo, which is about a 10-15 minute walk. Look for Mediterranean Street, and Fort St Elmo will be on your left.
