Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Marsaskala, head towards the coast and walk along the promenade towards the direction of St. Thomas Bay. Continue walking until you reach the main road (Triq il-Mithna) and turn right. Follow this road until you reach the junction with Triq il-Kalkara, where you will see signs for Kalkara. Turn left onto Triq il-Kalkara and continue walking straight. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive at Fort Rikasoli, which is located on St. Rocco Street.

  • Bus

    From Marsaskala, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Triq il-Mithna (the main road). Board bus number 81 or 82, which goes towards Valletta. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Kalkara stop. Once you get off, walk along Triq il-Kalkara until you reach St. Rocco Street. Fort Rikasoli will be on your left after a short walk.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Marsaskala promenade and cycle towards St. Thomas Bay. Once you reach the main road (Triq il-Mithna), turn right and follow the road. Keep cycling straight until you reach the junction with Triq il-Kalkara. Turn left and continue cycling until you reach Fort Rikasoli on St. Rocco Street.
