Walking
Starting from the Marsaxlokk waterfront, head east along the promenade towards the village center. As you walk, enjoy the views of the colorful fishing boats. Continue past the local shops and restaurants until you reach the main square, known as 'Pjazza San Publiju.' From the square, take the road leading out of the village towards Qrajten, following the signs for the Old Agricultural Trenches. After approximately 20 minutes of walking, you will see a sign indicating the entrance to the Old Agricultural Trenches on your right.
Walking
If you're starting from the Marsaxlokk Market area, exit the market and turn left onto Triq Il-Luzzu. Follow this road straight, which will curve into Triq Qrajten. Continue walking straight until you reach the outskirts of Marsaxlokk. Watch for a path that leads into the fields on your left. This path will take you directly to the Old Agricultural Trenches after about a 15-minute walk.
Public Transport
If you're near the bus stop at Marsaxlokk, take bus number 81 towards Valletta. Get off at the 'Qrajten' bus stop. From there, walk back along the main road (Triq Qrajten) for about 500 meters. You will see the entrance to the Old Agricultural Trenches on your left. The total travel time will be around 30 minutes, including the bus ride and walking.
