From the center of Mdina, exit through the Main Gate. Once outside, head straight towards St. Paul's Cathedral. Continue past the Cathedral, and follow the road downhill. You will reach a junction; take the right turn towards Rabat. Stay on this road until you reach the edge of Rabat. Look for signs pointing towards Hondoq Bay. The bay is a bit further away, so continue walking along the path. You will eventually reach the coastline, where Hondoq Bay is located.

From Mdina, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the main entrance of the city. Take bus number 51 or 52 towards Gozo Ferry Terminal. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Hondoq Bay. The journey will take about 25 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs leading to the bay, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
