    Walking

    If you're starting from the Mdina Main Gate, head straight through the gate and continue along the main road, Triq Villegaignon, for about 10 minutes. As you walk, you'll see the stunning architecture of Mdina surrounding you. Keep walking until you reach the end of the road, where it intersects with Triq Il-Papa Ġwanni Pawlu II. Turn left onto Triq Il-Papa Ġwanni Pawlu II and continue for another 5 minutes. Independence Square will be on your right.

    If you are near St. Paul's Cathedral, exit the cathedral and head southwest on Triq Il-Papa Ġwanni Pawlu II. Continue walking straight for about 8 minutes, passing by the beautiful gardens and historic buildings. You will find Independence Square on your left as you approach the end of the street.

    From the Mdina Dungeons, exit the attraction and turn left onto Triq Villegaignon. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Triq Il-Papa Ġwanni Pawlu II. Turn right and continue walking for approximately 5 minutes. Independence Square will be on your right, just past the intersection.

At the end of this road, you'll arrive at the intersection with Triq Il-Papa Ġwanni Pawlu II. Turn left and walk for about 5 minutes to reach Independence Square on your right.
