Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from the center of Mellieha Bay. Head south on Triq il-Marfa towards the intersection with Triq Malta. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Triq Ghadira. Turn right and follow this road until it merges into Triq il-Mellieha. Keep following the road as it winds through the countryside. After approximately 2 kilometers, look for a small road on your left leading up to the area known as 'Cave under cross.' Park your car at the nearest available space, as there may not be designated parking spots.

• Public Transportation

  Take bus route 101 or 102 from any point in Mellieha Bay. The bus will take you towards Mellieha town. Disembark at the nearest stop to the Mellieha Cross, which is a well-known landmark. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Cave under cross. It is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop, heading downhill towards the bay. Be cautious as the pathways might be uneven.

• Walking

  If you're already in Mellieha Bay and prefer walking, head towards the main road, Triq il-Marfa. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Triq Malta. Continue along this path, which will eventually lead you towards Mellieha town. Once you reach the Mellieha Cross, look for paths leading down towards the cliffs where the Cave under cross is located. It's a scenic walk, but be prepared for some steep inclines and rocky terrain.
