Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Mellieha Parish Church, located in the center of Mellieha. From the church, head west along Triq Il-Kbira for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Triq Il-Marfa. Turn left onto Triq Il-Marfa. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Għadira Nature Reserve. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to Għadira Nature Reserve on your left, marked by a green sign.

  • Public Bus

    From the Mellieha bus terminal, take bus number 101 or 102 towards 'Mellieħa Bay'. Stay on the bus for 5 stops, approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Għadira' bus stop. Once you disembark, walk back a short distance along the road, and you will see the entrance to Għadira Nature Reserve directly in front of you.

  • Cycling

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Mellieha Parish Church and head west on Triq Il-Kbira. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Triq Il-Marfa. Continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer. The road is mostly flat and suitable for cycling. You will notice signs for Għadira Nature Reserve as you approach. The entrance will be on your left side after about 15 minutes of cycling.
