Walking
From the center of Mellieha, start at the Mellieha Parish Church. Head north on Triq il-Kbira towards Triq il-Mithna. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq Santa Maria and continue for about 1 km. You will see signs for the Santa Maria Caves on your left. Follow the path leading to the caves.
Public Transport
From Mellieha, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Triq il-Kbira. Catch the bus number 101 or 102 towards Valletta. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the Santa Maria stop. From there, the Santa Maria Caves are a short 5-minute walk. Head back towards Triq Santa Maria and follow the signs to the caves.
