Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mellieha, head towards the Mellieha Bay area. Start by walking along Triq il-Ljun and continue straight until you reach the junction with Triq Sant'Elija. Turn right onto Triq Sant'Elija. Walk up this road; you will pass several shops and local eateries. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path which leads you up the hill. After a short hike, you will see signs pointing to Santa Marija Tower. Follow these signs, which will lead you through a pathway lined with trees and scenic views. The tower will be visible as you approach. This walk takes approximately 30 minutes.

Public Transport
From the Mellieha Bus Station, board bus number 41 or 42 towards Valletta. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Ghajnsielem. The bus will take you to the nearby area. Once you disembark, walk towards the sea, and you will see signs for Santa Marija Tower. Follow the path along the coastline that will lead you directly to the tower. This journey may take around 20-25 minutes, including the bus ride.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can set off from Mellieha by heading down towards Mellieha Bay. Take the coastal road that leads you toward Ghajnsielem. Follow the signs for Santa Marija Tower. The route is mostly flat and offers beautiful views of the coastline. The biking distance is approximately 3 kilometers and should take around 15 minutes, depending on your biking speed.
