Walking
From the center of Mellieha, head south on Triq il-Lunzjata towards Triq il-Kbira. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the main road, Triq il-Mellieha. Turn left onto Triq il-Mellieha and walk for approximately 1.5 km. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq tal-Ghajn. Follow this road for about 2 km, and you will see signs directing you to Mdina. As you approach Mdina, you will see the ancient walls and gates. The Mdina Gate is the main entrance to the city.

From Mellieha, head to the nearest bus stop located on Triq il-Kbira. Take bus number 41 or 42 towards Valletta. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Mdina' bus stop. From there, it is just a short 10-minute walk to the Mdina Gate. Follow the signs towards Mdina, and you will arrive at the gate, which is the main entrance to the historic city.
