Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Mgarr Harbour, exit the harbour area and head towards the main road, Triq Il-Haġar. Walk straight on this road until you reach the intersection with Triq Il-Marfa. At this point, turn left onto Triq Il-Marfa. Continue walking for about 1.5 km. You will see signs directing you towards Our Lady Of The Grotto. The shrine is located on your left, just before entering Mellieħa.

Public Transport
From Mgarr, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the main road (Triq Il-Haġar). Take bus number 41 or 42 towards Mellieħa. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Il-Mellieħa'. From there, walk east along Triq Il-Marfa for about 10 minutes until you see the signs for Our Lady Of The Grotto on your left.

If you are at the Mgarr Parish Church, exit the church and head down towards Triq Il-Haġar. Turn right onto Triq Il-Haġar and continue until you reach the intersection with Triq Il-Marfa. Turn left onto Triq Il-Marfa and walk straight. After about 1 km, you will see Our Lady Of The Grotto on your left side.
