Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Mgarr, start by heading towards the Mgarr parish church, which is a prominent landmark. Walk past the church and continue along the road that leads towards the ferry terminal. At the junction, take the path that veers left towards the countryside, following the signs for 'Għajn Tuffieħa'. This path will lead you through scenic views of the surrounding hills and fields. Continue on this path until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork, which will lead you downhill. As you descend, keep an eye out for a sign indicating 'Għajn Tuffieħa'. Make your way down the steep path, and you will eventually arrive at the beach area of Għajn Tuffieħa, known for its stunning views and clear waters.

• Bus

  From the Mgarr bus stop, take bus number 101 towards 'Mellieħa'. This bus will take you through the scenic northern part of Malta. After about 25 minutes, disembark at the bus stop named 'Għajn Tuffieħa'. From there, follow the signs leading to the beach, which is a short walk away. The path is well-marked and will take you directly to the beach area.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Mgarr and head towards the Mgarr church. From there, take the road towards the ferry terminal but veer off towards the countryside path that leads to Għajn Tuffieħa. This route is slightly hilly but offers beautiful views. Follow the signs, and once you reach the fork in the road, take the right path downhill. Park your bicycle at the designated area when you arrive at the beach.
