Start your journey from the central square of Mgarr, where you can find the Mgarr parish church. From the church, head north on Triq Il-Madonna towards the main road. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Triq Il-Marfa. Turn left onto Triq Il-Marfa and follow the road for approximately 1.5 km. You will pass by several local shops and cafes. Keep walking until you see the sign for Our Lady Of The Grotto on your right. The shrine is located slightly uphill, so be prepared for a gentle incline as you approach.

From Mgarr, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the Mgarr parish church. Take the bus heading towards Mellieħa. The bus ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Mellieħa bus terminus. From there, walk towards Triq Il-Marfa, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow Triq Il-Marfa for approximately 1 km until you see the sign for Our Lady Of The Grotto on your right. The shrine is situated slightly uphill, so be ready for a short climb.
