Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards Sliema by following the signs for Triq Ix -Xatt. From Valletta, take the road along the waterfront, which will lead you directly to Sliema. Once you reach Sliema, look for parking options along the promenade, but be aware that parking can be limited and may incur fees (typically around €1-2 per hour). After parking, walk towards Triq Ix -Xatt, which is a short distance from the promenade.

• Public Transport - Bus

  For those using public transport, catch a bus from any location in Northern Harbour towards Sliema. The main bus routes to Sliema are 30, 31, 32, and 133. You can board these buses from key stops such as Valletta Bus Station. A bus ticket costs around €2.00 for a standard ticket. Once you arrive at the Sliema Bus Terminus, exit and walk towards the waterfront promenade. Triq Ix -Xatt is just a short walk along the promenade, offering beautiful views of the harbor.

• Ferry

  Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Valletta to Sliema, which offers a scenic route across the harbor. The ferry terminal in Valletta is located near the main bus station. The ferry ride costs approximately €1.50 and runs frequently. Once you arrive at the Sliema ferry terminal, you will be right next to the promenade.
