If you are driving, start on the main road towards Mdina, either from St. Paul's Bay or Rabat. From St. Paul's Bay, take the B2 road towards Mdina. Follow the signs for Mdina, and as you approach the city, you will see a large sign indicating Mdina Gate. There is parking available outside the city walls. Once you park, walk towards the entrance, and you will reach Mdina Gate, which is the main entrance to the ancient city of Mdina.
Public Transportation
To reach Mdina Gate using public transport, take the bus from your location to Valletta. From Valletta, catch the bus number 51, 52, or 53 that heads towards Rabat. The bus will take you to the bus terminal in Rabat. Once you arrive in Rabat, it is a 15-minute walk to Mdina Gate. Follow the signs towards Mdina, and you will soon arrive at the gate, which marks the entrance to the historical city of Mdina.
