It’s a short 10-minute walk from the City Gate along the waterfront.

If you prefer to walk and are in the vicinity of Paola, head northwest towards the main road, Triq il-Kbira. Continue straight until you reach the T-junction and turn left onto Triq Sant'Anna. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Valletta. Once in Valletta, follow the signs to Fort St. Elmo, located on Mediterranean Street.
