Getting There

Walking
From the center of Paola, head southwest towards Triq il-Knisja. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq il-Kalkara and follow this road. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the village of Kalkara. Continue straight until you see signs for Fort Rikasoli. The fort is located on your right at St. Rocco Street. It should take approximately 20-25 minutes to walk there.

From Paola, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Triq il-Knisja. Take bus number 81 or 82 towards Kalkara. The journey will take roughly 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Kalkara' bus stop. From there, walk southwest along Triq il-Kalkara until you reach St. Rocco Street. Fort Rikasoli will be on your left. The entire trip will take about 30 minutes, including waiting time.
