From Qawra, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Triq It-Turisti. Look for the bus routes that head towards Valletta. Take the bus number 41, 42, or 49, which will take you directly to Valletta. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to have a ticket before boarding, which can be purchased at the bus stop or through a mobile app. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, follow the signs to the city center, which is a short walk from the bus station.

To take a ferry to Valletta, walk to the nearest ferry terminal in Sliema. From Qawra, take the bus number 41 or 42 to Sliema Ferries. The ferry ride from Sliema to Valletta lasts about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta ferry terminal, you will be in the heart of the city, ready to explore.

Walking and Public Transport Combination
If you prefer to walk, start from Qawra and head towards Bugibba. From Bugibba, take the bus number 212 or 221 to Valletta. This method will take longer, as you will be walking approximately 30 minutes to Bugibba first, then taking a bus which takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Valletta bus terminus, you can easily walk to explore the city.
