Walking
Start at the main square in St. Julian's, known as Spinola Bay. Head south along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the view of the bay. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end and turn right onto Triq Sant'Andrija. Follow this road for about 15 minutes until you reach the bus stop on your left called 'St. Julian's Bay'.

At the St. Julian's Bay bus stop, board bus number 31 or 32 heading towards Valletta. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop called 'Ħ'Attard'. This journey should take about 20-25 minutes depending on traffic. Once you disembark, you will need to walk about 15 minutes to reach Mercieca Reservoir.

After getting off at the Ħ'Attard bus stop, head east on Triq Ħ'Attard. Continue straight until the road curves left, then take the first right onto Triq Il-Pitkali. Walk along Triq Il-Pitkali for approximately 10 minutes. Mercieca Reservoir will be on your left. Look for a small entrance that leads to the reservoir area.
