Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start in the Tas-Silġ area. Head southeast on Triq il-Bajja towards Triq il-Gardiel. Continue on this road for approximately 1 km until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq il-Fortizza. After about 500 meters, look for a small dirt road on your right leading down to the beach. Follow this dirt road, which will take you directly to the WW2 Beach Post. Parking may be limited near the beach so be prepared to walk a short distance if necessary.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach WW2 Beach Post using public transportation, start by taking a bus from the main bus terminal in Valletta. Board the bus heading to Marsaxlokk (bus number 81 or 85). Alight at the stop for 'Tas-Silġ' which is close to the Tas-Silġ area. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the beach area. If walking, head southeast on Triq il-Bajja for about 1 km, then turn onto Triq il-Fortizza and look for the dirt road leading to the beach. The total cost for the bus ride is approximately €1.50.

    If you are already within the Tas-Silġ area, you can easily walk to WW2 Beach Post. Start at the Tas-Silġ archaeological site and head southeast on Triq il-Bajja.
