If you are starting from the Upper Barracca Gardens in Valletta, head down the steps towards the main road (Merchant Street). Once you reach the street, turn left and walk straight until you reach the bus terminus at City Gate. From there, take the bus number 13 or 14 towards St Julian's. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Balluta Bay stop, disembark and walk towards the waterfront. You will see Balluta Square ahead, a vibrant area with cafes and shops.
