If you are starting from the Upper Barracca Gardens, exit the gardens and head down the steps towards the main road, which is called Triq Il-Merkanti. Turn right onto Triq Il-Merkanti and continue straight until you reach the end of the road. At the end, you will see Republic Square ahead. This is a popular gathering spot in Valletta and is very easy to locate.

From the Valletta Waterfront, walk towards the main city. As you approach, follow the signs towards the main entrance of Valletta. Once you reach the main gate, continue straight through the city walls until you arrive at Republic Square. It's a straight path and will take around 15-20 minutes.
