If you are driving from any part of Western District, make your way to the main road leading to Valletta. Take the route towards Rabat and proceed to the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the exit towards Valletta. As you approach Valletta, follow the signs for the City Gate. Once you reach City Gate, follow the road towards the Upper Barracca Gardens. Ponsonby's Column is located near the gardens. Parking may be limited in this area, so look for designated parking spaces or nearby public parking lots.

To reach Ponsonby's Column using public transportation, find your nearest bus stop in Western District. Take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Valletta, disembark at the 'Castille' bus stop. From there, walk towards the Upper Barracca Gardens, and Ponsonby's Column will be a short walk away. Be prepared for a small entrance fee if you enter the gardens, usually around €2.
