Getting There

Walking
Start from the main square in Xewkija, known as 'Pjazza San Ġorġ'. Head south on Triq San Ġorġ, passing by a few local shops. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Triq il-Knisja. Turn left onto Triq il-Knisja, and follow this road as it begins to curve. Keep going until you see a sign for the Santa Maria Caves on your right. The caves are located a short distance down a small path from the road.

Walking
From the Xewkija Parish Church, head east down Triq il-Knisja. After about 300 meters, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path toward Triq Santa Maria. Continue straight, and you will see the entrance to the Santa Maria Caves on your right side. It's about a 10-minute walk from the church.

Public Transport
If you prefer public transport, head to the nearest bus stop located at the main square in Xewkija. Take the bus heading towards Victoria (Rabat) and get off at the stop named 'Santa Maria Caves'. The caves are a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs directing you to the attraction.
