Walking
Start your journey from the center of Xewkija, near the parish church, which is a well-known landmark. Head northwest on Triq il-Knisja toward Triq San Bartilmew. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq San Mikiel. Walk straight for another 700 meters until you reach the coast. You will see signs directing you to Santa Marija Bay. Follow the signs, and within 10 minutes, you will arrive at the scenic Santa Marija Bay.
Public Bus
From the main bus stop in Xewkija, catch bus 50 that goes towards Mgarr. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop for Santa Marija Bay. The bus will drop you off close to the bay entrance. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand, as it may vary throughout the day.
Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle, start at the central square in Xewkija. Head northwest on Triq il-Knisja and follow the same route as pedestrians. You can cycle directly to Santa Marija Bay, which is about 1.5 kilometers away. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Be mindful of traffic and follow the cycling paths where available.
