Walking
Start from the center of Xewkija, near the main square. Head south on Triq il-Knisja towards the main road (Triq il-Munxar). After about 10 minutes, you will reach a junction. Turn left onto Triq il-Munxar, which will take you towards the village of Munxar. Continue walking for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the outskirts of Munxar. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Xlendi. After passing through Munxar, follow the road signs for 'Xlendi'. Tortoise Rock will be located near the coast, just a short walk from the main road. Look for a dirt path leading down towards the water, which will take you to the rock formation.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Xewkija, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Triq il-Knisja. Take the bus heading towards Victoria. Once you arrive in Victoria, transfer to a bus heading to Xlendi. This bus will take you along a scenic route. Get off at the stop closest to Xlendi. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Tortoise Rock. Follow the coastal path that leads you towards the rock formation. Enjoy the views along the way!
