Car

Start your journey in Xlendi by heading north on Triq Il-Lunzjata towards Triq Il-Qolla. Continue straight until you reach the main road, Triq Il-Munxar. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq Il-Bajja, which will lead you to Triq Il-Bajja San Ġorġ. Continue straight until you reach another roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq Il-Hamrija. Follow this road until it merges with Triq Ic-Cimiterju. After about 15-20 minutes of driving, you will arrive at Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum located at Triq Ic Cimiterju Raħal Ġdid, PLA 1116. Parking is available near the site, but it is advisable to arrive early as spaces can fill up quickly.
Public Transportation

From Xlendi, walk to the nearest bus stop and board the bus heading to Valletta. Depending on your bus schedule, this trip may take approximately 45 minutes. Alight at the Valletta bus terminal and transfer to Bus Route 81 or 82, which goes directly to Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum. The journey from Valletta to the Hypogeum will take about 20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedules for the latest times, and keep in mind that a single bus ticket costs around €1.50. The Hypogeum is a short walk from the bus stop.
