Getting There

Bus

From Mellieha, walk to the nearest bus stop which is located on the main road, Triq Il-Luzzu. Take bus number 42 towards Valletta. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop for 'Victoria'. Once you get off, walk towards the Citadel which is clearly visible from the bus stop. Head east on Triq Il-Karmnu, then turn right onto Triq Il-Belt. Follow this road as it leads you directly to It-Telgħa tal-Belt where the Citadel is located.
Walking

If you're near the Mellieha Bay area, head towards the main road, Triq Il-Luzzu, and walk towards the bus stop at the intersection. Once there, take bus number 42 to Victoria. After arriving in Victoria, you can walk to the Citadel. From the bus stop, head east on Triq Il-Karmnu and then take a right on Triq Il-Belt. This path will lead you up to the Citadel, which is perched on a hill and offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

For a more direct route, you can opt for a taxi from any location in Mellieha. Simply flag down a taxi or use a local taxi service. Tell the driver you want to go to the Citadel in Victoria.
