Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Zejtun, head towards St. Catherine's Church. Once you reach the church, continue straight along Triq il-Wied. After about 300 meters, you will come to a T-junction. Turn left onto Triq Sant'Antnin and follow it for approximately 600 meters until you reach the main road, Triq il-Kalkara. Turn right and walk for about 1 kilometer. After passing through a residential area, you will see a sign for Fort Rikasoli. The fort is located on your left, on St. Rocco Street.

  • Public Transport

    From Zejtun, make your way to the nearest bus stop on Triq il-Kalkara. Take the bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Kalkara stop. From there, walk towards the coast on St. Rocco Street. Fort Rikasoli will be visible after a short walk of about 10 minutes.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the center of Zejtun and cycle towards St. Catherine's Church. Continue straight along Triq il-Wied, then turn left onto Triq Sant'Antnin. After reaching Triq il-Kalkara, turn right and proceed for about 1 kilometer. You will see Fort Rikasoli on your left after passing through the residential area. The ride should take approximately 15 minutes.
