    From the Maryland State House located at 100 State Circle, Annapolis, head northwest on State Circle toward East Street. Continue onto Church Circle, and then take a left onto Main Street. Walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Annapolis Town Center. From there, head to the nearest bus stop for the DC Circulator (you can catch it at the West Street and Calvert Street stop). Take the bus towards the National Mall. Get off at the stop for 12th Street & Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Walk northeast on Pennsylvania Avenue NW for about 5 minutes until you reach Blair House at 1651 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

  • Public Transportation

    Go to the nearest bus stop where you can catch the Annapolis Transit bus. Take Route 70 towards the New Carrollton Metro Station. Once you arrive at the New Carrollton Metro Station, transfer to the Orange Line towards Vienna. Get off at the Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Blue Line towards Franconia-Springfield and get off at the Smithsonian Metro Station. Exit the station and walk east on Constitution Avenue NW towards 14th Street NW, then turn left on 14th Street NW. Continue walking until you reach Pennsylvania Avenue NW, and then head right for about 5 minutes until you reach Blair House.

    Rent a bike from a local bike share service near the Historic District of Annapolis. Head northwest from the State House, then follow the designated bike lanes toward West Street. Continue on West Street until you reach the intersection with Route 50. Cross over to the bike paths that will take you toward the Broadneck Park. Follow the signs for the B&A Trail, which leads to the Maryland Avenue and Route 50. Continue biking on the trail until you reach the city limits of Annapolis. Once you are in Washington, DC, navigate toward 14th Street NW, then head toward Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Blair House will be on your right at 1651 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
