Walking
From the Maryland State House located at 100 State Circle, Annapolis, head northeast on State Circle toward Main Street. Continue straight onto Main Street for about 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Church Circle and follow it until you reach Duke of Gloucester Street. Turn right onto Duke of Gloucester Street and continue for about 0.5 miles. You will reach the Annapolis City Dock. From there, catch a water taxi to the Washington, D.C. area, which will take you to the closest docking point near Columbus Circle.
Public Transit
From the Annapolis Transit Center located at 3 Church Circle, take the Annapolis Circulator bus towards the Westfield Annapolis Mall. Get off at the last stop and transfer to the MetroBus route 10 towards New Carrollton. Ride this bus until you reach the Union Station stop in Washington, D.C. From Union Station, head east on Columbus Monument Drive, and you will find Columbus Circle just a short walk from there.
Bike Rental
Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Annapolis. Start at the bike rental location and head towards the B&A Trail. Follow the trail towards the Baltimore and Annapolis Trail until you reach the intersection with Route 50. Take Route 50 towards Washington D.C. After a scenic ride, park your bike at a designated bike rack near Union Station. From there, walk east on Columbus Monument Drive to reach Columbus Circle.
