From the City Dock, you can take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus or a taxi to get to the nearest Metro station, which is the New Carrollton Metro Station. From there, take the Orange Line toward Vienna/Fairfax-GMU. Transfer at L'Enfant Plaza to the Yellow Line toward Greenbelt. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station and transfer to the Red Line toward Glenmont. Finally, get off at the Farragut North station and walk to the DAR Museum located at 1776 D St NW, Washington, DC 20006.
