Walking
If you are in downtown Annapolis, start at the Visitor Center located at 26 West Street. Head west on West Street towards the intersection with Maryland Avenue. Turn right onto Maryland Avenue and continue walking until you reach State Circle. At State Circle, turn left onto Duke of Gloucester Street. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, then turn right onto Church Circle. Follow the road as it becomes Main Street, and continue until you reach the Annapolis City Dock. From the City Dock, you can take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus or a taxi to get to the nearest Metro station, which is the New Carrollton Metro Station. From there, take the Orange Line toward Vienna/Fairfax-GMU. Transfer at L'Enfant Plaza to the Yellow Line toward Greenbelt. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station and transfer to the Red Line toward Glenmont. Finally, get off at the Farragut North station and walk to the DAR Museum located at 1776 D St NW, Washington, DC 20006.
Public Transit
From the Maryland State House located at 100 State Circle, Annapolis, walk to the nearest bus stop on West Street at the State House. Take the Annapolis Transit Bus Route 1 toward the Annapolis Mall. Get off at the last stop, which is the Mall. Once at the Annapolis Mall, transfer to bus Route B30, which goes to the New Carrollton Metro Station. After reaching the New Carrollton Metro Station, take the Orange Line toward Vienna/Fairfax-GMU, then transfer at L'Enfant Plaza to the Yellow Line toward Greenbelt. Get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown station, then switch to the Red Line toward Glenmont. Disembark at Farragut North station and walk to the DAR Museum at 1776 D St NW, Washington, DC 20006.
