If you're in downtown Annapolis, head towards Main Street. Walk along Main Street until you reach the intersection with West Street. Turn left onto West Street and continue walking until you reach the Maryland State House. From there, follow the signs towards the City Dock. Once at the City Dock, you can catch the Annapolis Water Taxi to the Eastport area, where you will find a shuttle service to Washington, D.C. Alternatively, you can continue walking to the nearest bus stop to catch the bus to Washington, D.C.

From the Annapolis Transit Center located at 3 Church Circle, take the Route 70 bus towards Baltimore. This bus will take you to the New Carrollton Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Orange Line towards Vienna and get off at the Smithsonian station. Once you are at Smithsonian, you can either walk or take the Metro to the McPherson Square station, which is a short walk to 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
