Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Annapolis, head northwest toward Church Circle. You can start your journey at the Maryland State House located at 100 State Circle, Annapolis, MD. Once you're at Church Circle, take the exit towards West Street (MD-450) and walk along West Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and walk until you reach the waterfront. Continue along the waterfront until you reach the Annapolis City Dock. From there, you can catch a ride on the Water Taxi to Washington, D.C. When you arrive in D.C., walk to the nearest Metro station, which is the Smithsonian Metro Station on the Orange, Blue, and Silver lines. Take the Metro towards Largo Town Center and transfer at the Rosslyn station to the Blue Line towards Franconia-Springfield. Get off at the Foggy Bottom-GWU station and transfer to the Orange/Silver Line towards New Carrollton. Get off at the Rosslyn station, and then it's a short walk to Rose Park.

    Start at the Maryland State House in Annapolis. Walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the Annapolis Transit bus Route 99 to the New Carrollton Metro Station. Once you arrive at New Carrollton, take the Orange Line towards Vienna/Fairfax-GMU. Ride the Metro until you reach the Rosslyn station. From Rosslyn, transfer to the Blue Line towards Franconia-Springfield. Get off at the Foggy Bottom-GWU station, then walk to the nearest Metro stop to transfer to the Orange/Silver Line towards New Carrollton. Get off at the Rosslyn station, and from there, it’s a short walk to Rose Park.

    If you have access to a bike, you can bike from Annapolis to Washington, D.C. Start from the Maryland State House and head northwest to West Street. Continue on West Street, following signs toward the B&A Trail. Follow the B&A Trail towards the Baltimore-Annapolis Trail. Once you reach the trailhead, continue onto the trail until you reach the edge of the city. Once you arrive in D.C., use the bike lanes to navigate to P St NW. Follow P St NW until you reach 2459p P St NW, where Rose Park is located.
