Walking
From the Maryland State House, head north on State Circle toward East St. Continue onto West St. After about a 15-minute walk, turn right onto West St and walk for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Spa Rd. Turn left onto Spa Rd and continue for about 0.3 miles. At the traffic circle, take the second exit onto US-50 E. After about 1 mile, follow signs to merge onto I-97 N toward Baltimore. Continue for about 5 miles. Take exit 22B for US-50 E toward Annapolis. Follow signs for US-50 E and take exit 24 toward MD-2 S. Merge onto MD-2 S and continue for about 5 miles. Look for signs directing you to the Spanish Steps in Washington, DC.
Public Transit
From the Annapolis Transit Center, take the Circulator Bus to the Westfield Annapolis Mall. From there, transfer to the Metrobus route 21 heading toward Washington, DC. Ride the bus for about 45 minutes until you reach the stop at 22nd St NW. From the bus stop, walk north on 22nd St for about 5 minutes to reach the Spanish Steps at 1725 22nd St NW.
