    From the Maryland State House, head northeast on State Circle toward East St. Continue onto East St, then turn right onto Main St. Walk along Main St until you reach the end, then turn left onto Dock St. Follow Dock St, which becomes Fleet St, until you reach the intersection with West St. Turn right onto West St, then continue straight until you reach the intersection with New York Ave NW. The Octagon Museum will be on your left at 1799 New York Ave NW.

    From the Annapolis Transit Center, board the 101 bus toward Washington, DC. Ride for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the 'New York Ave NW & 18th St NW' stop. Walk one block west on New York Ave NW, and you will find The Octagon Museum at 1799 New York Ave NW on your right.

    If you have a bicycle, start from the Naval Academy and head east on King George St. Take a left onto College Ave, then right onto Rowe Blvd. Continue onto the Forest Drive bike lanes until you reach West St. Turn right onto West St and continue north until you reach New York Ave NW.
