Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Annapolis City Dock area, walk north on Main Street until you reach the intersection with West Street. Turn left onto West Street and continue walking until you reach the bus stop for the Annapolis Transit. Take the Annapolis Transit Route 101 bus towards the 'Westfield Annapolis Mall.' After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop for 'West Street at Calvert Street.' From there, you can catch a taxi or use a rideshare service to get to the Washington, DC area.

• Public Transit

  From the Annapolis City Dock, head to the nearest bus stop and board the Annapolis Transit Route 101. This bus will take you to the Westfield Annapolis Mall. Once there, transfer to the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus Route 70 towards Washington, DC. This journey will take approximately an hour. Get off at the 'Independence Ave SW & 7th St SW' stop, and you will be just a short walk away from the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial located at 540 Independence Ave SW, DC.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the rental stations around Annapolis. Start your ride towards West Street, then follow the bike paths leading to the Maryland State House. From there, navigate to Route 50 and follow the signs for Washington, DC. This route will take you through a scenic path and will take about an hour and a half. Once you arrive in DC, head towards Independence Ave SW until you reach 540 Independence Ave SW.
