Walking
If you're starting from the Annapolis City Dock, head northeast along Dock Street until you reach Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue walking straight. You'll pass several shops and restaurants on your way. After about 0.3 miles, you'll reach the Maryland State House. The State House Cannon is located on the grounds of the State House, just to the left when you enter the main gate.
Public Transportation
From the Annapolis Transit Center, take the 'Purple Route' bus towards the City Dock. Once you arrive at the City Dock stop, disembark and walk northeast along Dock Street. Turn right onto Main Street and walk straight until you reach the Maryland State House, which is about 0.3 miles from there. The State House Cannon will be found on the grounds of the State House.
Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle, start at the bicycle rental station at the City Dock. Ride northeast along the waterfront on the bike path until you reach Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue straight for roughly 0.3 miles. You'll arrive at the Maryland State House. The State House Cannon is located in the front yard area of the State House.
