From downtown Bethesda, walk to the Bethesda Metro Station located at 7400 Wisconsin Ave. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont and get off at the Springfield Town Center transfer to bus route 17A or 17F towards Lorton. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop for Richmond Hwy and Pohick Church will be a short walk from the bus stop.

Start at the Bethesda Metro Station. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont and transfer at the Silver Spring station to the Blue Line towards Franconia-Springfield. Get off at the Franconia-Springfield station and transfer to bus route 18C or 18F towards Lorton. After about a 15-minute bus ride, get off at the Richmond Hwy stop and walk a short distance to Pohick Church.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike-share programs. Start your ride from downtown Bethesda heading south on Wisconsin Ave. Continue onto Old Georgetown Rd and follow it until you reach the intersection with Richmond Hwy. Turn right onto Richmond Hwy and ride for about 5 miles. Pohick Church will be on your left at 9301 Richmond Hwy.

If you find yourself near the Lorton area, you can walk to Pohick Church. From the Lorton VRE Station, head south on Lorton Road and take a left onto Richmond Hwy.
