    From Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, start by exiting the refuge and turning left onto MD-16 W. Continue on MD-16 W for approximately 13 miles until you reach the intersection with US-301 N. Take a right onto US-301 N and follow it for about 15 miles. Merge onto MD-4 S toward Prince Frederick and continue for approximately 23 miles. As you approach Lusby, take the exit onto MD-765 E toward Calvert Cliffs State Park. Follow MD-765 E until you reach the park entrance located at 10540 H G Trueman Rd, Lusby, MD 20657.

    If you are using public transportation, your best option is to take a bus from the Cambridge area to Prince Frederick. From Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare to take you to the nearest bus station in Cambridge, MD. Once in Cambridge, board the bus heading toward Prince Frederick. Upon arrival in Prince Frederick, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Calvert Cliffs State Park at 10540 H G Trueman Rd, Lusby, MD 20657. Please check local bus schedules in advance for times and potential transfers.
