Car
To reach Battle Creek Cypress Swamp from anywhere in the Patuxent River Region, set your GPS to 2880 Grays Rd, Port Republic, MD 20676. If you're coming from nearby towns like Prince Frederick or Lusby, take MD-4 N towards Prince Frederick. After about 8 miles, turn left onto MD-765 W. Continue for 2 miles, then turn right onto Grays Rd. The entrance to the swamp will be on your right. Parking is available on-site.

If you're using public transportation, you can take a bus from Prince Frederick. Start at the Prince Frederick Transit Center and take the Route 2 bus towards Solomons. Get off at the intersection of MD-765 and Grays Rd. From there, it's about a 1.5-mile walk to Battle Creek Cypress Swamp. Follow Grays Rd south until you reach the entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited on weekends.

For those already in Port Republic, you can walk to Battle Creek Cypress Swamp. Start at the center of Port Republic and head east on MD-765. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach Grays Rd. Turn left onto Grays Rd, and the entrance to the swamp will be on your right.
