Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the 'Ellicott City - Baltimore National Pike' stop. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles west on Baltimore National Pike (MD-144) until you reach the entrance of Patapsco Valley State Park - Hollofield Area.

If you are cycling from Columbia, start by heading southwest on the pathways towards the Columbia Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with MD-108. Turn left onto MD-108 and ride until you reach the intersection with Baltimore National Pike (MD-144). Turn right onto Baltimore National Pike and continue for about 2 miles until you see the entrance to Patapsco Valley State Park - Hollofield Area on your left.
