From the center of Frederick, head south on N Market St towards E Church St. Continue on N Market St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Frederick MARC Train Station. From Monocacy Station, exit and walk towards the bus stop for the MTA Maryland bus route 204 towards Gettysburg. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride, which will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Gettysburg Visitor Center. Once there, you can either walk or take a local shuttle to Culp's Hill Observation Tower, which is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Visitor Center.

For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bike in Frederick. Start from downtown Frederick and head south towards the Monocacy National Battlefield. Follow the signs and bike paths leading towards the battlefield, which is about 5 miles away. Once you arrive, continue biking towards Culp's Hill, which is located within the Gettysburg National Military Park. The total biking distance from Frederick to Culp's Hill will be around 12 miles, and you can enjoy the beautiful landscape along the way.
Public Transport
Begin by taking a local bus, such as the TransIT bus from downtown Frederick to the Frederick MARC Train Station. From the train station, board the MARC train towards Washington, D.C. Disembark at the Monocacy station after about 10 minutes. Upon exiting, transfer to the MTA Maryland bus route 204 heading to Gettysburg. This bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach the Gettysburg Visitor Center, you can either walk (15-20 minutes) or take a local shuttle to Culp's Hill Observation Tower.
