Bus
From downtown Frederick, walk to the Frederick Transit Center located at 100 South East Street. Take the 'Route 60' bus towards 'Woodsboro'. This bus will take you towards the outskirts of Frederick. Get off at the stop at the intersection of Route 15 and Route 7, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. From there, transfer to the 'Loudoun County Connector' bus (Route 82) heading towards 'Leesburg'. Stay on this bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop for 'Hogback Mountain Rd'. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.5 miles southwest on Hogback Mountain Rd, and you will reach Stone Tower Winery at 19925 Hogback Mountain Rd.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Frederick. Start by heading south on South Market Street. Follow this road as it turns into Ballenger Creek Pike. Continue straight for about 7 miles. When you reach the intersection with Route 7, turn left and follow it for about 1 mile. Take a right onto Hogback Mountain Rd, and after about 0.5 miles, you will see Stone Tower Winery on your left.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, it is quite a long trek but can be a pleasant experience. Start from the center of Frederick and head southeast towards Route 15. Follow the pedestrian paths to reach Route 7. After approximately 6 miles of walking along the designated sidewalks, turn left onto Hogback Mountain Rd. Walk down Hogback Mountain Rd for about 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at Stone Tower Winery, located at 19925 Hogback Mountain Rd.
