    From the Gaithersburg bus terminal, board the Ride On Bus Route 56 towards the Shady Grove Metro Station. Get off at the Rockville Metro Station and transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. After 10 stops, get off at King Street-Old Town Metro Station. Exit the station and walk east on King Street for approximately 0.6 miles. Turn left onto Prince Street, and the Athenaeum will be on your right at 201 Prince St, Alexandria, VA 22314.
